Lady Tigers run in Oklahoma Baptist track meet

SHAWNEE – Andrea McKinney finished fifth and Minhuyen Nguyen took seventh in the 5000 meters as members of the the East Central University women’s cross country team rain in a few distance events at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational Track Meet on Saturday.

McKinney clocked in at 19:46.08 and Nguyen covered the distance in 20:07.04.

In the women’s 1500, ECU’s Amber Walker ended up fifth with a time of 5:02.25. Teammate Jorden Earle was 14th in 5:21.21 and Katie Bruner settled for 19th in 5:28.94.

Earle took 11th in 2:35.38 and Bruner was 20th in 2:40.05 in the women’s 800.
