Football Announces 2013 Schedule

Bryant Becomes Fifth Tiger to be Taken in the NFL Draft

ADA – 2012 East Central University senior defensive end Armonty Bryant became just the fifth Tiger to be picked in the NFL Draft, as he was chosen by the Cleveland Browns as the No. 217 overall pick. Bryant was the 11^th pick in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft and was also the first player to be picked from the Great American Conference in the 2013 draft. Read the full story.

New Turf At Norris Field Being Put Down

ADA – After the new turf project at Norris Field at East Central University started in February, the actual turf in now being laid. The project started with the removal of the old grass field surface, level and layers of sand and rock being laid. Read the full story.

Pippin Joins ECU Football Staff as Defensive Coordinator

ADA – When Spring practice starts for the East Central University football team April 1, the Tigers defense will have a new leader. Head coach Tim McCarty has announced the addition of Randy Pippin as the new defensive coordinator. Read the full story.
